Love can’t be defined
It’s more complex than complex,
so much that no adjectives could properly describe it.
Love is just love.
We spend so much time trying to define it,
forcing it into a structure that it can’t possibly fit.
And it is not the answer to all problems.
Love does not equal eternal happiness.
Love does not equal fulfillment.
Love does not equal sanity.
To simplify a complex concept,
Love is simply Now, free floating,
invisible to the naked eye,
unable to be captured because it’s already within us.
It sounds cheesy but it’s true.
Look at the stars, the Moon, the sky, shining down upon you.
Look at the eyes of the passerby with a friendly smile.
Look at the drooping tongue of an over-excited dog, happy to see you.
Look at the parted lips of the one who makes your heart race, how they curl up into a grin.
Love is all of those things, and thus can’t possibly be defined!
But one thing is for certain.
Love is yours, even when you can’t see it.
I promise you.
